Islamic House of Wisdom Eid-Al-Fitr family service and prayer

Members of the Muslim community gathered at the IHW to commemorate the Night of Destiny and Power.

The Islamic House of Wisdom (IHW), once more, has made the Muslim community proud and has proven that IHW is in the forefront of spreading the understanding among All Abrahamic and monotheistic religions in order to combat Islamophobia that has been prevalent in this country after 9/11.  So, on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, IHW hosted an Interfaith Dinner and Ramadan Iftar on Wednesday September 17, 2008. 

On Sunday August 24th, 2008, Islamic House of Wisdom (IHW) held its Semi-Annual Fundraising dinner attended by a big crowd from the Muslim and Arabic community. Keynote speaker, Congressman Rev. William E. Fauntroy, came from Washington to be IHW guest due to imam Mohammad Ali Elahi's efforts.

Shia-Sunni leaders and scholars gathered at the IHW to re-confirm the Code of Honor which was signed a year ago and to condemn the recent violence in Pakiston against the Shia Muslims.

Muslim Unity Picnic- Hosted by the Community, For the Community, under the leadership of hajj Mohammad Beydoun, hajj Hicham Bazzi and their families and the work of many dedicated volunteers. Imam Elahi led the congregational prayer and addressed the crowd.
