Positive Behavior Required: This is a leadership program, aimed to empower and inspire kids. This is not a program to manage behavior. Refunds will not be given due to expulsion from this program.
Uniform Required: (to participate in the program, uniform is required every week- unless indicated otherwise)
Boys: Navy Shirt | Black Pants
Girls: Navy Shirt (or Navy Polo Uniform Dress) | Black Pants | White Hijab

Program Donation: (For Supplies, Staff, Building Usage, Invited Guests & all Details related to our meetings): $225
(While the program donation will not cover the entire cost of our program, we hope to receive more support from parents and generous donors throughout the year). We aim to keep the program fee low in hope of connecting with all girls- especially those most in need!
Includes: Non-Refundable $50.00 Program Fee.
Please consider it a donation to the overall youth program!
Rules/Safety Guidelines:
To ensure the safety and efficiency of running the scheduled meetings, all leaders need to be approved members.
There is an adult-to-student ratio set for every level.
When attending field trips, a permission slip must be signed.
Sharing snacks is not allowed due to any scout with allergy concerns & health standards.
Volunteers, leaders and co-leaders are not allowed to administer medicine.
IHW and its Scout leadership will not be held liable for injuries or missing personal items.

Important Details to Adhere to as Members
Meeting Dates: 5:00pm-7:00pm- Friday’s of the School Calendar + Special Events in Summer!
Uniform: Mosque attire is required for all meetings, events and activities.
Weekly Meetings: Black Pants, Navy Shirt, and Girls: White Hijab.
Special Events & Field Trips: Dress code to be announced.
What to Bring to Our Weekly Meeting: Optional: Healthy snack, Non-disposable water bottle, extra pair of clothes - please Label all belongings.
Masjid Etiquette: As parents, we need to dress appropriately when entering the Masjid to set an example for our youth.
Please do so when dropping off your scout as a courtesy to fellow worshippers and to respect the sanctity of the Masjid.

Meeting Structure:
5:00pm-5:15pm: Welcome Scouts, Snacks & Announcements
5:15pm-5:30pm: Opening Ceremony: Surah al-Fatiha & Dua.
5:30pm-6:30pm: Group Activities
6:30pm-7:00pm: Group Lesson, Reflection, Prayer & Closing Dua
Drop-Off & Pick-Up:
Upon Arrival- please sign-in with their leaders. Unless a parent is a registered volunteer, please wait outside or come back at the end of the meeting at 7:00pm for pick-up.
